There’s parking too. The lodge is clean and had all amenities advertised upon arrival. It is definitely a place to go and reconnect in the most beautiful surroundings. There are yoga mats you can borrow too!’
‘I can’t recommend The Cabin (or bell tents) at The Woodland Retreat enough. The location, the hosts, the accommodation – is all fantastic. If you’re after a quiet, relaxed location to anchor your stay on the Isle of Wight, you would be hard pushed to find a better spot! Myself, my wife and our two boys didn’t want for anything while we were there, everything we needed (and more) was available – even the ability to charge our electric car right by the cabin! Hosts were able to offer fantastic local information as well as genuine conversation and a truly welcoming energy. We will be back and encouraging any friends who are headed to the island to visit also. Thanks again!’
‘A lovely, quiet space in a great part of the island. The wildlife in the woods is an absolute perk, with red squirrels outside the windows every morning! Photos are exactly like the space, a really good base for those with children, who need some floor space for them to run around in!’

This space is perfect for a romantic get away, a small family or friends who just want to hang out together. A truly unique and magical place.
This is a new space and we are really excited to share it with you. The chalet offers an open space living & sleeping area with a separate kitchen & bathroom with wonderful panoramic views of the trees & wildlife.
The space has large windows giving you panoramic views of the woodland & nature all around you. If you sit quietly you will see red squirrels, Jays, Buzzards, all sorts of birds and on rare occasions foxes can be sited.
The Kitchen consists of a large portable baby belling oven, double induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, large toaster, kettle and slow cook.
The main area has a table with 6 fold up seats, one sofa bed (can be made into a bed for 2), 2 single floor mattresses, one double bed, two seats at the breakfast bar perfect for bird watching and squirrel spotting.
We also have a tuned piano so you can play to your hearts content.
The Bathroom has one hot shower, toilet, sink, one long length mirror and one small mirror, soap, towel and bathroom mats.
The outside area one bench, outside chairs (you are welcome to use the inside chairs if you need more just make sure you bring them in after you have used them), one fire pit and two small pallete tables.
There is also a communal area so you can connect with the others guests on site if you wish to and share stories.
